Pots at the MFA

Check out the leaf in the bottom of the 2nd bowl
The museum tag says it was a product of the leaf during the firing

MFA Boston

So on Friday we went into Boston and had a great day wandering around the MFA
Spent some time looking at pots and all the great stuff there You could easily go there every day for a week and not see everything. Great place

Meat and Potato Bread

Pots and Wasabi Bacon Bread

I have 2 dozen or so tea bowls and cups on the shelf ready for a glaze fire.
Looking forward to the results. I spent some time the other day making marks with rope on a wet surface with good results.
I used a paddle to square up some bowls.
Stopped at Home Depot and bought some various shapes of rope and one small chain that will be nice for making marks as well.

Got back to the office and got a great review on the New Years Bread from Bill that was Potato Sauerkraut. The Meat and Potato bread received rave reviews and even the vegetarian contingent had comments on it, kind of a bacon protest. I will try and post a picture with this post. Over the New Years weekend I made Potato Garlic for the gathering in Stoney Brook as well as Potato Horseradish which came out quite nice.
So next week

Bacon Potato Wasabi Bread I think this will be incredible

Next weekend I am going to go for the Bacon Wasabi Bread
