Born in a Tavern in Philadelphia on 11/10/1775Today is their Birthday. This is a small club and most who serve ask for it.
This is an image of one of their finest. Lewis ( Chesty )Puller. His Biography is a classic in military history.
His only son Lewis Puller Jr also served during The Viet Nam War. He went on to write a Great book " Favorite Son" about his struggle being his fathers son and being blown up during that war.
There is no happy ending to this story.
War and Service to this nation is challenging at best. Tomorrow is Veterans Day if you know a Vet thank them.
